第1足根中足関節過度可動性と外反母趾術後成績との関係

　外反母趾術後成績不良の原因に再発や内反母趾があるが，第1足根中足(TMT)関節の過度可動性との関係は明らかではない．本研究ではTMT関節の過度可動性を，荷重位足背底X線像を用いて分類し，われわれが行っている第1中足骨近位回外骨切り術(PSO)の術後成績との関係について検討した．TMT関節に過度可動性があり，術前の外反母趾が重度の症例では術後再発が有意に多かった．また術後に新たにTMT関節に過度可動性を認めた症例では，術後に内反母趾を高率に生じていた．本稿では本研究の結果について詳説する．
