LLIFの功罪

　側方進入腰椎椎体間固定術後を(LLIF)は外側から椎体間に大きなケージを挿入することで椎体間を開大して安定化する術式である．脊柱変形に対してLLIFを併用した二期的矯正固定術により固定範囲を短くできた経過良好例と，LLIF施行時に腸管に損傷を生じた合併症発生例を提示した．LLIFは低侵襲で比較的簡便に腰椎の矯正と間接除圧が行える有用な方法である．しかし，LLIFの持っている臓器損傷などの重篤な合併症が生じる危険性を見過ごしてはならない．
