症例報告

シーズン中の初回肩関節前方亜脱臼に対し，鏡視下Bankart修復術を施行したプロ野球選手の1例

背景：シーズン中の初回肩関節前方亜脱臼に対して手術を施行し，翌シーズンに完全復帰を遂げたプロ野球選手の1例について報告する．

症例：27歳男性，右投げ右打ちの外野手．シーズン中盤に非投球側の左肩関節前方亜脱臼を受傷した．左肩痛が続き，復帰後の確実性を重視し鏡視下Bankart修復術を施行した．術後8カ月の開幕時からレギュラーで試合に出場し，脱臼不安感はなく，前年までと同等の好成績を残した．

まとめ：初回脱臼，シーズン中のプロ野球選手であっても，選手の背景を踏まえたうえで手術療法も考慮すべきである．
