誌上シンポジウム 変形性膝関節症における関節温存手術

外側型変形性膝関節症に対するDistal Femoral Osteotomy

　原発性の外側型変形性膝関節症は内側型変形性膝関節症と比して頻度は高くないが，日常診療においてしばしばみられる．若年者や中年者における外側型変形性膝関節症に対して，以前から大腿骨遠位内反骨切り術が行われているが，骨癒合に長時間を要し，合併症も少なくないと報告されていた．近年，術式やプレートの改良により骨癒合遅延や合併症は減少して，安定した成績が報告され，筆者らの経験からも治療の選択肢と考える．一方，手術手技の習熟は安定した成績の獲得には不可欠と考える．
