ショートテーパーウェッジステム(TriFit^®)のオフセット設定は適切か

背景：本邦でショートテーパーウェッジステム(STW)が広く使用されているが，オフセット設定が適切に獲得できているか否かは不明である．

対象と方法：対側が正常の大腿骨頚部骨折に対して人工骨頭置換術を施行し，STWであるTriFit^®スタンダードオフセットステムを選択した46症例の股関節オフセットをCTで計測した．

結果：股関節オフセットは手術側，正常側ともほぼ同様な計測値を呈していた．

まとめ：TriFit^®の大腿骨オフセット設定は適切である．ただし，カップの内方化を必要とする人工股関節置換術ではオフセット不足となる症例があることが懸念される．
