リハビリテーション治療におけるボツリヌス療法

　痙縮の治療にボツリヌス療法を組み合わせたリハビリテーション治療は大変有用である．施注前から四肢の痙縮と動作の評価を行い，治療目標を設定し，投与筋や投与量を決定する必要がある．また，麻痺の改善を目指す場合，ボツリヌス療法はあくまでもリハビリテーション治療の効果を高める「プレコンディショニング」であることを患者に伝える必要がある．リハ治療は痙縮を呈する筋のストレッチが中心になるが，患肢の機能に応じて粗大運動や巧緻運動を取り入れる必要がある．
