動物咬傷の疫学的検討—月齢と咬傷発生の関連

目的：当院における動物咬傷症例を月齢(月の満ち欠け)に着目し，後ろ向きに調査した．

対象と方法：当院の動物咬傷168例を対象とし，動物の種類，患者の性別・年齢・受傷部位などの種々の患者因子，咬傷発生日の月齢について検討した．

結果：受傷部位は手部・上肢で105例(62.5％)と過半数を占めた．動物の種類は，犬が70例(41.7％)と最も多かった．また，満月の日に発生した犬咬傷は17/70例(24.3％)と有意に多かった．

結語：動物咬傷は犬に多く，満月の日に有意に多く発生した．満月と犬咬傷発生の関連性が強く示唆され，満月時期における犬咬傷発生に対する注意喚起は有用であるかもしれない．
