日本人特発性側弯症患者におけるDistal Radius and Ulna(DRU) Classificationを用いた骨成熟度評価

 Distal radius and ulna(DRU)classificationは橈尺骨遠位骨端線のみを細分化した新しい骨成熟度評価法で,非常に簡便であることに加え,客観性,再現性,信頼性に優れるとされる.日本人特発性側弯症患者207人を対象としDRU classificationと暦年齢,初潮からの時期,Risser signとの関連性を調査した.DRU classificationはRisser signと有意な相関関係があり,DRU classificationはRisser signよりも暦年齢や初潮からの時期と強い正の相関関係にあった.またDRU classificationは腸骨骨端核出現前の骨成熟度も評価可能であった.DRU classificationは本邦の特発性側弯症患者の骨成熟期の指標として有用である.
