自家神経移植の現状

　神経欠損を伴う末梢神経損傷に対しては神経移植，神経移行術，もしくは腱移行術が行われる．神経移植の歴史は古く，最初の試みは1876年までさかのぼる．神経移植では2カ所の縫合部が必要ではあるが，レシピエント神経と同程度の神経束を確保し，縫合部に緊張を掛けることなく神経縫合を行えば約8割の症例でMMT3以上の筋力，5割の症例でMMT4以上の筋力回復が期待できる．また移植神経長がたとえ長くても，決して成績が悪化するわけではない．ここでは神経移植の術式・成績について述べる．
