前腕・手関節骨折におけるダメージ・コントロールとしての創外固定

　前腕・手関節骨折において，ダメージ・コントロールとしての一時的創外固定の利用は，下肢骨折ほど標準化していない．しかし重症多発外傷に対するdamage control orthopaedics(DCO)を目的として，また軟部組織の状態などにより一期的内固定が困難な場合に二期的内固定を行うまでの待機ならびに軟部組織安定化を目的として，前腕・手関節骨折においても有効な手段である．本稿では，主に橈骨遠位端骨折に関するダメージ・コントロールとしての創外固定に関し，手技および合併症を含め概説する．
