肩こりに対する低用量プレガバリンの有用性

背景：肩こりは有訴率の高い疾患であるが，治療法が確立されていない．

対象と方法：肩こり患者95例に対して25〜75mgのプレガバリンを投与した．

結果：有効率は83.8％であった．プレガバリンの用量別や，肩こりの原因別でも有効率に有意差はなかった．

まとめ：肩こりには神経痛の要素があることや，プレガバリンが過剰な筋収縮を抑えること，プレガバリンのC線維に対する特異性などにより，少量のプレガバリンでも肩こりに有効であると考えられた．
