スポーツにおける足部・足関節の骨折に対する外来超音波診療

　スポーツにおける足部・足関節(foot and ankle)の靱帯や筋腱疾患の診断，治療に対して超音波(ultrasound)は広く用いられてきた．しかし近年超音波診断装置の技術革新が進んだことで画質が非常に鮮明になり，骨折(fracture)の診断にも超音波が使われるようになった．超音波は被曝の心配がなく，動的な評価が可能で，かつ骨組織で超音波が強く反射して描出されやすい，という特徴から非常に有用である．本稿では骨組織の一般的な超音波所見について説明し，次いで骨折，剥離骨折，若木骨折，疲労骨折，骨膜剥離，偽関節の超音波所見について説明した．最後に低出力超音波パルス治療(low-intensity pulsed ultrasound：LIPUS)による超音波治療，そしてJones骨折検診などスポーツ障害予防における超音波の役割について簡単に紹介した．
