後脛骨筋腱機能不全の超音波診断

　後脛骨筋腱機能不全(posterior tibial tendon dysfunction：PTTD)は多くの成人期扁平足の原因である．PTTDは，足関節内果後方から下縁の後脛骨筋腱に沿った腫脹と圧痛が認められ，その後足部変形を来す．超音波検査は，腱断裂のみならず，早期病態特定と治療困難になっている無症候性PTTD患者に対して，PTTDが進行する前に病態を特定するのに役立つ可能性が報告されている．外来における後脛骨筋腱の超音波検査は，早期より腱の状態を確認することができる検査法であり，PTTDの病期を的確に判断し治療を選択できる．
