ピロン骨折における腓骨骨折の治療

足関節の安定性は脛骨，腓骨，距骨による骨性安定性と，それらを連結する靱帯性安定性によって成り立っており，果部骨折ではこれらの構造物が破綻して足関節の安定性を失う．その際に腓骨整復の重要性は周知のことであるが，ピロン骨折では足関節の軸圧損傷により脛骨天蓋および脛骨遠位骨幹端に骨折が生じ，脛骨天蓋部の骨折整復が注目され，脛骨内果や腓骨骨折の整復よりも重要視されやすい．しかし，ピロン骨折であっても，足関節の形態を再構築する際の腓骨の重要性は果部骨折と変わることはない．今回，ピロン骨折における腓骨骨折の整復，足関節の形態を再構築する際の腓骨の重要性について述べる．
