足関節骨折術後のインプラント抜去術—合併症発生率とそれを避ける工夫

足関節骨折に対する内固定術後の抜釘術の適応は，抜釘術に伴う合併症の情報が欠如しているためコンセンサスを得られていない．そのため足関節骨折術後の抜釘術に伴う合併症を調査した．術前にインプラント関連症状のあった患者は，抜釘術後に全例において症状が改善していた．抜釘術の合併症の発生率は14％であった．合併症が発生した群では，皮切の数が多く，血管病変の併存の割合が高く，手術時間は長かった．足関節骨折術後の抜釘術はインプラント関連症状のある患者に有用な手段だが，同定されたリスク因子を有する患者では適応を慎重に判断する必要がある．
