変形性膝関節症患者に対する足関節捻挫用サポーター付き足底挿板装着によるウォーキング運動の効果

変形性膝関節症(膝OA)に対し，足関節弾性固定付き外側楔状足底挿板(外側楔状)をウォーキング訓練での疼痛を減少させる目的で使用した．76例の膝OA患者を無作為に外側楔状装着群と平坦な中敷きを装着する対照群に分類し，1日平均歩数を2,000歩増加するように指導した．結果，1日平均歩数の変化は，外側楔状装着群(2,174±823歩増加)が対照群(1,251±914歩増加)に比べて有意に増加した(p＜0.0001)．膝OAに対する外側楔状はウォーキング訓練の有効な補助具であると考察した．
