●ダンサーを診療する際は，種目ごとの動きの特徴を理解して診療にあたると障害の特徴などが理解しやすい．
●バレエでは下肢(特に足部・足関節)の障害，ブレイクダンスなどでは手関節や肩関節，脊柱の障害の頻度が高い．
●診察時にはコミュニケーションを取りやすくするように，それぞれの種目で使われる専門用語などを積極的に使用する．
●医学的に正しい動きがダンスでよいとはされないこともあるため，今までのテクニックを医学的観点から頭ごなしに否定するのではなく，筋力やバランスなどの弱い点の修正を通してパフォーマンスを上げられるように提案する．1人のダンサーとして成長していけるように，保護者や教師とも連携を取りサポートを行っていく．
