Point!

●むずむず脚症候群(RLS)の主症状は下肢を中心とした四肢の不快感や異常感覚だが，小児は症状の表現が拙いため親が脚の痛みを主と捉え，整形外科を受診することも少なくないと思われる．

●RLSは有病率が決して低くないにもかかわらずその認知度は低く，日常診療において見逃されやすい疾患である．

●RLSは睡眠障害の重要な原因疾患である．適切な診断と対応は患児や家族のQOLの改善にも結びつき，小児整形外科診療において認識されることが強く求められる疾患である．
