強剛母趾

強剛母趾は人種に関係なく，高齢化に伴って増加すると考えられ，高齢化社会を迎えたわが国では臨床現場で多く遭遇する可能性がある．特徴的な母趾中足趾節(MTP)関節の背屈制限と痛みを生じる．病態としては①関節内と②関節外とに分けて考え，理解していく．病態を理解したうえで，特徴的な身体所見や画像検査で状態の確認作業を行っていく．高齢者に特徴的な加齢性の変化がどこまで病的なものとして症状に関与しているかを考えながら，強剛母趾の状態を見極めることが一歩上をいく診療となる．
