「外反母趾診療ガイドライン2022(改訂第3版)」では，scarf骨切り術，水平骨切り術，Ludloff骨切り術，extended-chevron骨切り術，第1中足骨回転骨切り術に着目して，バックグラウンドクエスチョン(BQ)としては，適応・術式・合併症について検討し，クリニカルクエスチョン(CQ)としては，「骨幹部骨切り術を行う場合，どのような術式が推奨されるか」について検討した．「外反母趾変形に対してscarf骨切り術と同様にextended-chevron骨切り術，Ludloff骨切り術を行うことを弱く推奨する」と結論づけた．
