Point!

●外科医における感染症症例は，できるだけお目にかかりたくないものである．まずは合併症としてのSSIを発生させないためにするべきことを熟知する．

●感染症が発生しやすい状況(患者側要因・環境要因)を理解する．

●感染症の治療や予防に際し，目的達成のために十分かつ必要最小限の量の抗菌薬を使用する(患者ではなく菌に対して投与するという心構えをもつ)．

●外来フォローでは，症状の些細な変化に迅速に対応すること，早期診断・治療開始(外科治療を厭わない)が最も重要である．
