抗菌薬含有セメント髄内釘の作り方と使い方

骨髄炎の治療においては，病巣を清浄化し局所に抗菌薬を投与する必要がある．さらに，癒合が完成していない症例に対しては骨折部の固定も同時に行う必要があることから，治療に頭を悩まされることが多い．抗菌薬含有セメント髄内釘は骨折部の安定性を維持しつつ，局所に抗菌薬を投与できることから，長管骨骨折術後の骨髄炎の治療において大きな利点がある．セメントに含有する抗菌薬の選択には熱耐性と抗菌効果の両方を有することが条件であり，固定強度を担保するための髄内釘の選択と，セメントを固着するための技術を習得することが治療成功の鍵である．
