PEDからFESSへの変遷

2003年より国内でヘルニアなどの変性疾患への応用が始まった経皮的内視鏡手術PED法は，ヨーロッパではFED，米国ではSEDと呼ばれていた．2018年頃世界統一の名称をとの機運が高まり，full-endoscopic spine surgery(FESS)に統一された．
