シーバー病

小児および若年者の踵痛の最も一般的な原因であるシーバー病は踵骨の骨端症で踵骨の二次骨化核が癒合する前に発症する．運動時にかかる踵への衝撃とアキレス腱の持続的な牽引による微小外傷によって起こる．単純X線踵骨側面像では骨端核の分節化，骨硬化像，骨端線の拡大や不整像などがみられる．治療は保存加療が主であり，運動制限，ヒールの高い足底挿板の使用，腓腹筋のストレッチおよび筋力訓練を中心とした運動療法などを行う．予後は良好で将来障害を残すことはなく，単純X線でみられた不整像なども改善される．
