骨折保存治療の極意を伝える

●保存療法の成績は，自分の経験の範囲内ではなく，成書を読んで確認したい．本稿ではその一部を紹介した．

●保存療法では骨折部が安定する外固定が必要．安定すると関節運動しても痛みが軽いので，筋力低下と関節拘縮を防止することになる．

●一般にシーネは弱すぎることが多いので，スプリント材を2枚重ねにするか2枚で患肢をはさんで強くすること．キャストは厚すぎることが多いので，素早く薄く巻いて速やかにモールディングする．

●本稿では保存療法に有用な外固定を解説し，一部は作成法を動画で示した．
