脊柱靱帯骨化症レジストリー症例登録

脊柱靱帯骨化症をはじめとする難病患者に最適な医療を提供するには，治療成績向上と診療体制の整備という2つの側面からのアプローチが不可欠である．治療成績向上のためには，オールジャパン体制での悉皆性の高い症例レジストリーを構築し，それを基盤とした多施設研究を実施することが必要不可欠である．厚生労働科学研究費補助金「脊柱靱帯骨化症に関する調査研究」研究班では，日本整形外科学会症例レジストリー(JOANR)の2階部分に，脊柱靱帯骨化症手術症例レジストリー登録システムを構築し，2021年11月より仮運用を開始し，問題点の抽出・登録システムの微調整を行った後，2023年度より本格運用を開始した．今後は，システムを運用，症例を蓄積するとともに，集積されたデータベースを活用した多施設共同研究を積極的に推進していく方針である．これにより，脊柱靱帯骨化症の診断・治療に関して質の高いエビデンスが創出され，本症に対する普遍的な治療体系の確立が期待される．
