変形性膝関節症に対するAPS療法の臨床成績

変形性膝関節症(膝OA)に対するAPS療法は海外では2〜3年の効果が期待できるとの報告があるが，日本人に対する中長期の有効性は未解明のままである．そこで当院のAPS療法3年以上経過例を対象に，KL分類の重症度別に中期臨床成績を調査した．KOOSを用いたOMERACT-OARSI基準の有効率は，KL2では3年経過しても5割以上を維持し，効果の持続期間も長かった．しかし，KL3では3年，KL4では1年で有効率は低下した．3年経過時に手術に至った症例の割合は，KL3が2割，KL4は4.5割であった．APS療法は，変形が軽度であれば症状改善期間も長く有効な治療だが，重症化に伴い改善期間は短くなる．
