Ⅰ．　はじめに

　口腔・咽頭領域の病理で問題となる疾患は多数あるが，そのなかで前癌病変が問題となる口腔疾患，すなわち口腔白板症・紅板症および扁平苔癬について，また粘膜下進展が特徴とされて下咽頭癌について述べる。また下咽頭癌では直達鏡検査時にルゴール染色が行われるようになったが，その不染帯の病理組織についても述べる。
