POINT

●慢性副鼻腔炎（chronic rhinosinusitis：CRS）の発症はわが国において近年減少しつつある。

●慢性副鼻腔炎の発症に関連する因子として，解剖学的形態，胃食道逆流は一定の見解は得られていないが，大気環境，アレルギー，年齢に関しては関連性が認められ，組織学的には鼻茸や副鼻腔粘膜への好酸球浸潤の割合が経時的に増加傾向である。

●好酸球性副鼻腔炎は，近年のわが国での大規模調査で診断基準案が提案され，発症率も推計された。

●真菌性副鼻腔炎は，急性浸潤性真菌性副鼻腔炎において，予後因子の推計がなされ，眼球摘出の必要性に関しては予後に有意性が認められなかったことが報告されている。

●アレルギー性真菌性鼻副鼻腔炎は，わが国と海外とで発症率は同様程度である可能性がある。
