POINT

●簡便で安全な表面電極付挿管チューブを用いた方法が普及してきている。

●機器の設定，評価項目，術中の手順などInternational Neural Monitoring Study Groupによるガイドラインも発表されており，適正な使用を心がける。

●Loss of signal時の評価法を把握し，術式の変更や声帯機能予後予測などを適切に判断する必要がある。

●現時点では反回神経障害のリスクを減少させる明らかなエビデンスは確立されていない。その有用性と限界を認識し使用する必要がある。
