POINT

●頭位性めまいで最も頻度の高い疾患は良性発作性頭位めまい症である。

●良性発作性頭位めまい症では病巣半規管により特徴的な眼振を示す。

●頭位性めまいには頻度は低いが生命予後に影響する中枢性頭位めまいが含まれる。

●中枢性頭位めまいは，小脳の虫部，特に虫部垂や小節の異常で発症することが多い。

●頸部の回転または伸展によりめまいが誘発される頸性めまいは中枢性頭位めまいに分類される。
