POINT

●緩和ケアに関する考え方は発展してきている。

●がん患者に対して緩和ケアを提供することの意義が検証されてきている。

●緩和ケアのニードは，緩和ケア病棟から一般病棟・在宅・外来へと拡大している。

●緩和ケアは，基本的緩和ケアと専門的緩和ケアに分けて考えられるようになった。

●緩和ケアを提供するリソースは十分ではなく，特に専門家の育成が重要である。
