POINT

●頭頸部癌に対する漢方治療は，あくまで補完的な支持療法であり直接の抗腫瘍効果を期待するものではない。

●化学療法に伴う急性期の嘔気・嘔吐や急性期の骨髄抑制などは，漢方薬の前に西洋薬を第一選択とする。

●頭頸部癌患者の基本処方として三大補剤の投与は，さまざまな症状の改善に有効で治療意欲の向上にも寄与する。

●口内炎に対する半夏瀉心湯治療は局所効果が主体となるため，含嗽することが重要である。

●六君子湯，大建中湯，半夏瀉心湯などは，効果発現のメカニズムがかなり詳細に判明しており，臨床でのエビデンスも蓄積されてきている。
