・神経損傷の客観的・定量的評価

・Bell麻痺，Ramsay Hunt症候群の予後評価

・耳下腺腫瘍による神経浸潤の有無

・側頭骨骨折の顔面神経損傷程度


●対象

　顔面神経の損傷程度を他覚的に評価でき，nerve excitability test（NET）とともにBell麻痺，Ramsay Hunt症候群の予後予測に主に使用される。Bell麻痺，Ramsay Hunt症候群に限らず，側頭骨骨折，聴神経腫瘍術後などにおいて顔面神経の損傷の有無を評価することが可能である。

　ただし，Bell麻痺発症早期（7日未満）や，両側性麻痺や再発性麻痺など左右を比較できない疾患ではENoGの解釈に注意が必要である。
