Point

●薬剤耐性（AMR）対策を理解し実践するために，かぜ（ウイルス性上気道炎）と急性中耳炎（AOM）の関係を正しく理解する必要がある。

●AOMの患者数はかぜの流行と同期して増減するため，かぜの発症後1週間はAOMの発症に注意が必要である。

●ウイルス性AOMから抗菌薬を必要とする細菌性AOMを鑑別するには詳細な鼓膜所見が必須であり，特に重要なのは鼓膜の膨隆所見である。

●鼓膜の膨隆を伴わないAOM軽症例はウイルス性の段階である可能性があり，3日間抗菌薬を投与せずに経過を観察することが推奨される。
