Point

●かぜに対しては抗菌薬の投与を行わない。

●かぜは基本的にウイルス感染であり放置していても治癒するが，総合感冒薬はそれまでの間の症状を少しでも改善する役割がある。

●症状に応じた処方薬の選択を行う。

●妊娠15週までは薬剤による催奇形性の可能性があり，16週以降でも胎児への影響を考慮する。アメリカ食品医薬品局（FDA）による胎児危険度分類基準が処方の参考となる。
