挿管困難症例への対応

POINT

●患者個々の挿管困難リスクに対する事前評価が重要である。

●挿管困難が予想される患者では最良の気道確保の手段を事前に検討し，最悪のシナリオも想定した準備をして手術に臨まなければならない。

●挿管困難かつマスク換気困難となる可能性がある患者では，躊躇せず意識下挿管を選択するべきである。

●事前に予測できない挿管困難事例も数多くあり，日本麻酔科学会（JSA）の気道管理アルゴリズムに沿って対応し，できる限り迅速に酸素化を達成しなければならない。
