POINT

●頭頸部がん治療における歯科の役割，歯科のスペシャリティとして，治療支援や口腔機能改善（咀嚼や嚥下，会話など）のためのさまざまな「モノづくり」（口腔内装置の作成）がある。

●歯科補綴装置により，がん治療によって損なわれた口腔機能の維持・改善のみならず，がん治療の安全性や質を担保し，治療の円滑な進行・完遂を支援することができる。

●頭頸部がん治療の歯科補綴は，歯科での保険適用もあり，普及・均てん化が期待される。
