耳管狭窄症の病態と診断

POINT

●耳管開放症と類似する臨床所見を呈することがあるため，鑑別を慎重に行う必要がある。

●原因としては，小児（低年齢）以外の理由としては上気道炎や鼻副鼻腔炎（アレルギー性鼻炎を含む）によるものが多い。

●耳管狭窄症を呈する疾患であっても，耳管が開放状態の場合もある。

●正しい診断のためには，問診，鼓膜所見，耳管機能検査，聴覚検査などの結果を総合的に判断することが重要である。
