ここを押さえておこう

●超高齢社会にあって口腔乾燥症の患者数は増加傾向で，その原因も多彩である．

●口腔乾燥感をきたす原因として，唾液腺機能障害，代謝性・全身性疾患，神経性，薬剤性，機能性・心因性に大別されるが，原因は1つでなく複数あることも少なくない．

●詳細な病歴聴取，唾液分泌機能検査，血液検査，画像検査，病理組織検査を組み合わせて原因を見極め，適切な治療法を選択していく．
