POINT

●高齢者のメニエール病に対しては，生活のリズムを整える指導を行い，水分と適度な運動を勧め，保存的治療を試みる。

●保存的治療に抵抗する場合，手術治療に進む前に中耳加圧治療を考慮する。

●体動による誘発性浮動感が続く場合，剝離耳石の半規管内浮遊による可能性があり，良性発作性頭位めまい症に準じた治療を考慮する。

●メニエール病による耳石器・半規管障害は，メニエール病の病勢が落ち着いていても転倒・骨折の原因になるため，前庭リハビリテーションによる平衡訓練は重要である。
