POINT

●「olfactory training」と呼称される，4つの嗅素液に浸した綿花が入った瓶を1日2回嗅ぐ方法が欧州を中心として普及している。

●本邦では嗅覚障害に対するリハビリテーションを「嗅覚刺激療法」と呼ぶ。

●感冒後嗅覚障害，外傷性嗅覚障害のほか，パーキンソン病に伴う嗅覚障害への効果も示唆されている。

●日本人になじみのあるにおいによる方法の有効性を明らかとする臨床試験が開始された。
