フローチャートによるめまい診断—急性めまいと慢性めまい

POINT

●めまいはその発症形式から，急性めまい，発作性めまい，慢性めまいに分類される。

●急性めまいの診断では，フローチャートを利用することで脳血管障害による危険なめまいを見逃すリスクを軽減できる。

●慢性めまいの原因疾患としては，持続性知覚性姿勢誘発めまい（persistent postural-perceptual dizziness：PPPD）が最多で，心因性めまいや一側性前庭機能障害の代償不全がこれに続く。

●慢性めまいの診断フローチャートは，原因疾患の頻度を考慮して作成されており，症状の特徴や乏しい所見から原因疾患を同定することが可能となっている。
