重症メニエール病への対応—中耳加圧治療の適応と限界

POINT

●中耳加圧治療は，保存的治療を行っても有効性が確認されない，総合的重症度がStage 4の難治性メニエール病に対し，耳鼻咽喉科専門医の指導のもとで行う治療である。

●本邦の保険医療で中耳加圧装置として使用が認められているのはEFET01（第一医科社）のみである。

●中耳加圧治療により，内リンパ水腫が軽減し，前・後半規管の機能が改善することが報告されている。

●中耳加圧治療による介入を行った群が対照群に比べ，めまい症状が有意に軽快したことを示すメタアナリシスは現時点では存在しない。
