総頸動脈に誤挿入された中心静脈カテーテルの頸部外切開による摘出例

はじめに

　中心静脈カテーテル（central venous catheter：CVC）はベッドサイド，手術室など場所を問わず行うことのできる簡便な静脈路確保手技である。しかし，しばしば重要血管や臓器に誤挿入されることがあり，対応を誤ると脳梗塞・血胸・動静脈瘻などの重篤な合併症の発生や死亡事故につながる，リスクを有する手技でもある。今回われわれは，総頸動脈の単純抜去困難部位に誤挿入されたCVCカテーテルを，開胸処置や血管内治療を要することなく頸部切開法にて抜去することができたため報告する。
