上腕骨近位端骨折

上腕骨近位端骨折は高齢者における四肢骨折のうち，大腿骨頸部骨折，橈骨遠位端骨折についで高い頻度で発生する^1）．また，Kristiansenら^2）は上腕骨近位端骨折の全体の77％が女性で，10万人あたりの発生率は女性142例，男性48例と述べている．日本では信原^3）が同様の報告をしている．このような特徴を持つ上腕骨近位端骨折に対しても他の疾患と同様に早期退院，早期社会復帰することが強く望まれている．

　今回，当院で早期退院，早期社会復帰を目指して行っている上腕骨近位端骨折術後の理学療法について述べる．
