急性期整形外科疾患に必要な薬物療法と理学療法

疾患や外傷を問わず，リハビリテーション（以下，リハ）の重要性については，医療の一環として早期から関係者すべてが意識していなければならない．このような認識が広まる中で，医療チームの一員として，理学療法士（以下，PT）が治療早期から参加する機会が増えつつある．その際，PTが何を問題とし，どのような理学療法を行っているかを他のチームメンバーが理解する必要がある一方，PT側も現在行われている治療について基本的なことは理解できなければならない．運動器疾患に対する治療は日進月歩であるが，今回は，特に急性期の整形外科疾患に関わる薬剤に焦点をあて，基本的と思われる事項について概説する．

合併症への対応

　1．最近の動向―併存する多数の疾患

　昨今は，整形外科領域でも複数の疾患を持つ高齢者を対象とすることが多くなってきた．急性期治療と言っても，併存する疾患を適切な薬剤や処置により治療管理しなければ，骨関節の問題に辿り着かないことがある．
