関節リウマチの下肢変形，拘縮と歩行

関節リウマチ（以下，RA）は，長期経過してから起こるとされていた関節破壊が実は発症から2年以内に急速に進行するという認識^1～3）のもと，平成14年4月23日に行われた日本リウマチ学会総会にて診断名が「慢性関節リウマチ」から「関節リウマチ」へと変更され，「痛みを止める」から「関節破壊を止める」治療へと変遷している．

　本論文では，RAに対する最近の治療動向，RAの発症機序，各下肢関節における変形および進行メカニズム，下肢関節におけるアラインメント異常と歩行時の下肢各筋群の働きおよびRA患者に対する歩行に関する臨床研究について述べる．
