筋力増強の代表的方法と効果

 筋力トレーニングは絶対筋力,筋持久力,筋肥大,筋パワーなどを増加させるポピュラーな身体活動の1つである.特に,高齢者または患者の筋力トレーニングは,効率的かつ安全で効果的に実施されなければ,身体活動としての高いコンプライアンスにつながらない.プログラム作成にあたり,強度,セット数,セット間の休息時間(インターバル),運動様式,筋収縮速度からなるトレーニング変数間の相互関係を考慮することが重要である.本稿では,健康成人と高齢者の筋力トレーニングの方法とその効果について概説する.
