フィードバック・教示と運動学習

はじめに

　理学療法士の臨床での技術レベルというと，徒手的な治療テクニックのスキルを十分に駆使できるか，もしくは動作分析など治療者としての理論的背景に依存する評価がうまく行えるか，といった視点でとらえられることが多い．しかし，そういったものとは別に，当の理学療法士にとって当たり前すぎるために，技術として意識されていないものがある．たとえば，治療中の口頭指示や声かけなどがそれにあたる．ところが，筋力増強練習中の「かけ声効果」のような特殊な例を除けば，そういったものを臨床での技術ととらえ，その効果を科学的に検討する試みはまだ少ない．本稿では，運動学習研究における教示やフィードバックの知見をとりあげ，臨床での一般化の可能性や注意点を考えてみたい．
